Rules for processing and protecting user personal data within the Sejm Roleplay project.
SejmBot & SejmBot Global

This Privacy Policy explains how SejmBot & SejmBot Global (the "Bot" or the "Service") processes personal data of users who use the Bot on Discord and the related Roblox functions. The Service is used to support a fictional roleplay community. It is not an official service of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, any public authority, Discord, or Roblox.
The controller of personal data processed within the Service is Maksymilian Gąsior. For matters related to personal data processing, unlinking a Roblox account, deleting data, or exercising GDPR rights, contact us by email at: kontakt@sejmroleplay.pl.
As part of operating the Service, we may process data necessary to link and operate a Discord account and a Roblox account, in particular user identifiers, usernames, account-linking information, and information needed for the Bot functions to work. We do not access your Discord or Roblox password, private messages, payment information, or the email address of your Roblox account unless a platform makes such information available through a used function and it is necessary for the Service to operate. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for behavioral advertising.
Data may come directly from you, from your Discord account, from your Roblox account, and from actions performed while using the Bot. The linking of a Roblox account with a Discord account is performed using Roblox authorization. The Service does not learn your Roblox password.
We process data for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:
Linking a Roblox account with a Discord account is not based on consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, but on the necessity of performing the Service. Therefore, withdrawing consent is not the proper procedure for this activity; however, a user may request account unlinking as described in section 6.
A user may request that their Roblox account be unlinked from their Discord account. To do this, send an email to kontakt@sejmroleplay.pl and provide information that allows us to verify the request, such as your Discord identifier, Roblox account name, or other account-related information. After the Roblox account is unlinked, some or all Service functions may become unavailable until the account is linked again. Unlinking the account does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the request was completed.
Data may be processed through Discord and Roblox because the Service operates using those platforms. Data may also be shared with technical providers only to the extent necessary to maintain and secure the Service. We do not provide personal data to third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be disclosed if required by mandatory law or a valid request from an authorized authority.
We keep data for as long as it is needed to operate the Service, manage an account, ensure security, handle requests, and comply with legal obligations. After you stop using the Service, delete your account, or unlink your Roblox account, data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable time, unless further retention is required by law or needed to protect claims or the security of the Service.
The Service is not intended for persons under 13 years old. Persons under 13 years old should not use the Service. If a parent or legal guardian believes that a person under 13 years old used the Service and provided personal data, they may contact the Controller at kontakt@sejmroleplay.pl. After verifying the request, we will take appropriate action, including deleting data or unlinking an account where justified and technically possible.
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures intended to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. No method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security in every circumstance.
Depending on the operation of Discord, Roblox, or technical providers, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR are used where applicable.
Discord and Roblox are independent platforms that we do not control. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the rules, availability, changes, or privacy practices of Discord or Roblox.
To the extent provided by the GDPR, you have the right to access data, rectify data, delete data, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority. In Poland, the supervisory authority is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office. To exercise your rights, email kontakt@sejmroleplay.pl.
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will inform users of material changes within a reasonable time through available communication channels, in particular on the Discord server.
